I just bothed a batch of sourdough pancakes. Defeated by tsp vs tbsp

I was p0wned when making Eggs Beneidict once. I mistook teaspoon with cups. So instead of a 1/4 teaspoon I put in a 1/4 cup.

Something about cooking in the morning that makes one more likely to flub it up.

Hollendaise. I kept stiring it in butter slowly thinking damn this still tastes really sweet.

Dont feel too bad though, that sauce is easy to fubar.

I was volunteering in the kitchen at a weekend LARP event, and made what I ended up dubbing "Irish Soda Biscuits."

They weren't planned that way; we were told to make biscuits, we had no recipe, and it had been years since I had made any from scratch. I added too much baking soda. (They were good, though.)
