January books
  1. The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals (started in December). Interesting anecdotes.
  2. Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions. Worth rereading.
  3. Timescape. Sufficiently convoluted.
  4. Darwin's Radio. Interesting, but less delightfully horrific than Blood Music
  5. The Dream Master. Not memorable.
  6. On Basilisk Station. (kindle) (unfinished) Painfully bad writing style, I didn't get to the main plot. May try again when I can't sleep.
  7. UML Distilled. (kindle) (some chapters)
  8. There will be dragons. (kindle) (finished in February)

I recall reading Flatland when I was about ten or eleven. Do you happen to know how that version is different than the original?

Off Armageddon Reef is the same (ish) story as the Honor Harrington books, and is slightly better written. Really, once you've read one Weber, you've read them all, minus some plot points.
