Science Fiction Short Film Festival?
Saturday, February 3. 20 short films. 4-6 AND 7-9 PM for $15, or just one of those sessions for $9.

Tickets go on sale to the public Tuesday, but I have a SIFF membership and can buy them Monday. Who wants to go?

SIFF Group and The Science Fiction Museum & Hall of Fame (SFM) are pleased to co-present the Second Annual Science Fiction Short Film Festival to be held at the Cinerama in Seattle, WA on Saturday, February 3, 2007.

Twenty original short films will be showcased in competition to win a development pitch with the SCI FI Channel. The films represent a diverse slice of experience, budget and nationality, with local Seattle-produced and other American-made films competing against international entries from as far away as Australia and the UK.

The twenty films will be screened in two sessions, the first ten from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, and the second ten from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. The awards will be presented at the end of the second screening session. Attendees present at both screenings will be eligible to vote for the Audience Favorite award and the Douglas Trumbull Award for Best Special Effects.

Ticket info:
$9 for a single screening session or $15 for both sessions
Available at the SIFF Box Office online at www.seattlefilm.org, or by calling 206-464-5830.

Tickets officially go on sale January 16th, but SIFF and SFM members may purchase tickets early by calling 206.464.5830 on Monday January 15th, from 10 am to 5 pm only.

Day-of-show ticket availability is subject to advance sales. Both showings sold out in 2006.
