Editing God out of Veggie Tales
NBC has made me very happy. Fuzzy generic "values" television is one thing, but I would hate to see networks starting to push specific religious establishments.

as someone else pointed out elsewhere, stuff like what NBC did (i.e. editing out the God references) would have been clearly spelled out in the contract that the Veggie Tales guy signed. Or at least *should* have been...

It could've been some rider saying "we reserve the right to edit shows to fit with network standards" which he would've though "no problem! There's nothing offensive or needing editing out in my shows!"

You mean like Fox is doing?

Watch ABC family or Lifetime for a little bit. There's usually Who'se Line is it Anyways? marathons on ABC family...

Fox network is pushing ads on cable for "fox films" - films centered around Christian morals, beliefs, and God. Those commercials definately elicited a "WTFOMGBBQ!" from Leigh and myself.
