Movies
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe - must get in touch with parents, figure out when we are going to go see this.
Aeon Flux - maybe a matinee. If not, Netflix.
Legend of Zorro - netflix.
King Kong (12/14) - I already have my ticket (next Wednesday, Pacific Place, 7 PM)

Underworld: Evolution (January) - Unfortunately, I must see it. Perhaps a matinee.
A Scanner Darkly (March) - Will wait for reviews. Already added to Netflix, in case I don't bother to see it in theatres.
V for Vendetta (March) - Probably will see in theatres, if it isn't a total trainwreck.
Silent Hill (April) - Again, I'll go see it unless it is spectacularly crapular.
X-Men 3 (May) - from what lithera says, this may be worth smuggling booze into the theatre.
Superman Returns (June) - Definitely. Probably an opening-night Cinerama crowd for this one.
Pirates of the Carribean 2 (July) - Another movie worthy of the Cinerama.
Spider Man 3 (May, 2007) - YES.

Hmm, that looks ... sparse. Are there any movies not on this list that you are looking forward to?

Current Music: Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead

Well, right now I want to see Brokeback Mountain, Syriana and a few other things I missed. There is a new theater opening in Bellevue that I should scope out too. Thinking about going to see Goodnight and Good Luck over there some time.

The trailer for Silent Hill has promise.

Aeon Flux could be fun as a brainless action flick, but I don't expect any more out of it. I'll probably see it.

King Kong. I want to see it. Don't know when. I might be able to swing wednesday (I'm taking it off anyway). Do you mind if I tag along?

Why must you see Underworld? Was the first one any good at all? I heard it wasn't, but didn't see it.

Super Man, Pirates, Spidey. Oh yes. yes yes.

Munich looks somewhat interesting. I might try and see it.

Apparently Steve Martin is doign The Pink Panther. I don't know how I feel about that. It will probably suck, I'm afraid.

Lady in the Water - M. Night Shyamalan, will probably see it.

A scanner darkly I will probably see even if it's terrible. Sorry, I like PKD and Keanu, as insane as that is.

Definitely, come see Kong. We'll make an evening of it.
Why Underworld sequel? Two bits of history.

First, Kyna and I saw Underworld together (to mock) shortly before we started dating. Second, I had a crazy GM at the time that loved Underworld so much (and thought it was MUCH better than anything White Wolf could have produced) that she wrote up a terrible Underworld RPG, along with her homeless street-musician goth lover/owner. I may still have the PDF around somewhere... it's more mockable than the movie. She added in spellcasters (Empowered), Zombies, and Spirits to round out the world.

Oh... my... dark... lord......

That's scary. :)

Okay, I'll see about Wednesday. I should be able to take 522 back after the movie assuming it's not more than 3 hours long.

And since I'm taking that day off, I should be able to get there easily.
