Today's nasty argument
"If you put EVERY bug into the tracker as top priority, drop-everything-and-do-it-now, I'm just going to start ignoring EVERY bug from you. That's why the bugs she puts in at low priority get fixed faster than the bugs you put in at TOP priority."

But it's the most important thing me, how could anyone else bugs be more important than mine?
Yeah I love how that works. Have the started adding Pri “0” above Pri “1”? I can’t believe it when they did that to my group.

ugh.. that's one of the biggest things that peeved me when I was doing Dev work... People would come in with their "priority" projects and bypass my manager even though it's posted in big red and black letters "ALL PROJECTS MUST MEET MANAGER APPROVAL PRIOR TO CONSIDERATION" and they would expect me to drop _everything_ and work on their project for 3 weeks straight just to get their stupid fucking report right.

And people wondered why I didn't like having 5 project groups ;(

I'm currently being a bug logger. And I will never ever do that.
