Weekends go by far too fast. Then again, my weekdays are pretty busy, too.
Wednesday was the regular get-together to watch Angel and such. The not-quite chili turned out very well. I came home in time to watch some "South Park" with Cody before getting some sleep. Craaaab People. Craaaaab People. Tastes like crab, talks like people. Craaaab People.

Thursday, I met my mom for dinner. We went to our favorite Thai place in Ballard, caught up on each other's lives, and made plans for going to see my sister this winter. At this point, it looks like we will be flying down to El Paso on Christmas Day and flying back on New Year's Eve.

Friday was Chai and indecisiveness. Mr. Spot's is just like I was told, and I picked up a bottle for Kris, since her week was teh uber-suck. Eventually, I was introduced to Gormenghast. I enjoyed the parts that I saw; Steerpike was a lovely protagonist that was quite fun to watch. Most of it seemed like the kind of fantasy David Brin would approve.

Saturday, Kat handed me a pile of comic books. She says it's almost time for me to break down and get myself a box. Before I do that, I should at least sit down and list the ones I am currently reading. We went on a mighty shopping expedition for the party. I think we have sufficient supplies to kill a few people. After that and some yardwork, I took a much-needed nap and woke to find that I had the house to myself. That didn't last long, which made me happy despite my normal anti-social tendancies. Ended up getting a good night's sleep, which has become somewhat unusual in recent weekends.

Sunday was very quiet and relaxed. Watched the happy-fun zombie survival movie, then tromped south for Game. I'll probably post about that, elsewhere. My character managed to turn an ugly situation into outright war, and he's quite proud of himself for that.

Yeah. Something about "roving hordes of undead devouring entire villages" managed to piss off the Tharmins.

the Tharmins are weaklings.

Now, great wyrm read dragons. Those things are annoying.
Particularly when they drop greaty wyrm blue dragons on you.
And then use you as a cruise missile into the tower all your friends are standing in.
Then you have to go to it's lair and kill it.

All in a day's work, I suppose.
