Thought for today
It is the trickster's urges and his denial of boundries that frequently make him a useful assistant to the world creator, and sometimes he is the sole creator. The point is, his desires and his pursuit of them are thoroughly human; the trickster works in our world, not in heaven. This is so even though he has superhuman powers of transformation. He can -- like Jesus, the Hindu Krishna, or Buddha, who all possess trickster-transformer-shamanistic aspects -- transcend human limitations. He can change his shape, and he can move between the worlds here, above, and below.
