Work is good
It keeps me sane. Er, relatively sane.

I went in today to HealthProLink to look over their code base and make some initial estimates. It felt very, very good to work. I only worked one afternoon this week, so I'm still going to try to get partial unemployment for the week, but the psychological difference is amazing. For a few brief hours this morning, I felt like I had my life back.

They want me to come back Tuesday, and start working full-time for an indefinite duration at that point, most likely leading to a permanent position. My salary requirements were discussed, and Phil promised to start "greasing the wheels" to get me hired on at a salary.

And to top off the day, I get to see Kristine tonight.

Re: Cool and wierd
Medical industries don't seem to be going away any time soon, which is a Good Thing(tm).

For the record, it seems that they write better code in India than in Korea. Sure, I have 42,000 lines of uncommented code to take care of, but it's clean, well-designed code. Happy Happy Joy Joy!
