I will be attempting to get Comic Con housing nailed down. I realized that the reason some of those places were roped off for us were the days we wanted it. Would it make sense to try to try to grab the days before we wanted now, seperately or something?

Um, I'm having problems parsing that comment.

Are you suggesting that we should try booking the hotels we want at rape-me prices (that we don't intend to pay) before Comic-con booking becomes available? Alternately, are you suggesting that we should book "adequate" rooms at outlying-but-not-Mission-Valley hotels now, ten see if we get something "better" through Comic Con?

We normally want to be there from Monday. Most of the places we can get on the site are only available the nights /of/ Comic Con only and so results come up negative when we look for rooms at those places. I was wondering if we should look at getting places for Monday and Tuesday...?
